Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Ballet Protractor (the "App") handles your information. The App has no sign-up or login, and its measurement features run entirely on your device without any server.
1. Camera & measurement data (on-device)
The App uses the camera to measure leg angles in real time. During live measurement, camera frames are analyzed on your device only and are not transmitted anywhere. If you use the recording feature, a video with the measured angle overlay is saved on your device (no audio is recorded). This video stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere unless you choose to save or share it.
2. Data stored on your device
App settings (camera choice, language, detection model) are stored only on your device. Videos you record are also stored on your device, and if you choose "Save" they are added to your device's photo library. This data is not sent to any server, and you can delete it yourself.
3. Photo library & sharing
Saving a recorded video uses your device's photo library access. If you use the share feature, the video is sent to the app or recipient you select; this is entirely at your discretion.
4. Data collection by the developer
The developer does not collect, store on servers, sell, or share your personal data or measurement data.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows ads via Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process data such as device identifiers, approximate location, and ad interactions, in accordance with Google's policies. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
6. Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
For users in these regions, the App requests consent for the use of advertising data through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change your choice anytime via "Privacy options" in the App settings.
7. iOS tracking (ATT)
On iOS, the App may request tracking permission. If you decline, non-personalized ads are shown.
8. Children
The App is not primarily directed at children.
9. Your choices
You can manage your data by changing ad consent, deleting videos stored on your device and in your photo library, or uninstalling the App.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. When it changes, the effective date on this page is updated.
